The final SMARTEN event is taking place this week in the beautiful location of Skiathos, Greece. The first day’s agenda was dedicated to establishing connections between SMARTEN and Nexus-Net (Network on water-energy-food nexus for a low-carbon economy in Europe and beyond). This collaborative event provided attendees with an insightful overview of each project, as well as an engaging workshop titled “The Role of Digital Education in the WEFE Nexus,” led by Zakhar Maletskyi, SMARTEN project coordinator.
